BUNDESLIGA ALL STAR DAY! ratiopharm Ulm was well represented at Koln Arena last weekend for Bundesliga All Star day. Power forward Jeff Gibbs scored 14 points with 6 rebounds in the All Star game after participating in the Bundesliga Slam Dunk contest. An excellent event, over 14,000 fans were in attendance for this exciting showcase of Bundesliga basketball. Recapping the days events, the North beat the South 112-98 behind MVP Demond Mallet of hometown Rheinenergie Koln. Earlier in the Rookie Game, the Under 20 All Stars topped the NBBL All Stars 48-47 in a matchup of young German stars. Bayer Leverkusen wing Jared Newson was crowned Slam Dunk king while Bremerhaven's Nick Jacobsen captured the Three Point Shooting title. ratiopharm Ulm GM Thomas Stoll and Head Coach Mike Taylor enjoy the action from Bundesliga All Star Saturday!
