ULM loses game; Gibbs?
ratiopharm Ulm dropped an 86-79 decision to hardworking Chemnitz 99ers, but the loss of this preseason game is no concern to Ulm. The possible loss of powerforward Jeff Gibbs is. During the fourth quarter of the third consecutive game day of Fritz & Macziol Cup action at Sportszentrum Kuhberg, Ulm's biggest fears flashed in front of them as Gibbs lay flat on the floor in the lane. Helped off the floor by teammates, Gibbs will have his left knee examined by Ulm medical staff Monday morning.
