| Top point guard prospect Christian
Grosse returns to Ulm's roster for a second season with his
hometown team. The recent high school graduate is serving
his country with a years assignment to TSG Soflingen sports
club. Last season, Christian made his mark as a great
young point guard with tremendous potential. His talent
earned him a spot on the South squad for the Bundesliga Rookie
All Star Day played at Cologne Arena January 31st. Grosse
played extremely well on the teams US College tour where he met
the likes of Arizona State, Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine with
success. He finished last season strong scoring 19 pts with 4
assists on a perfect 5 for 5 three point shooting in Ulm's
season finale against FC Kaiserslautern April 24th, 2004.
Christian played well as a youngster last season in the
2.Bundesliga backing up Michael Bree and is expected to make
major strides in 2004-2005. A tremendous competitor,
Christian brings intensity to the floor every second he plays.
An excellent player using ballscreens, Grosse can use his
dribble to create for teammates or for his own shot. Ever
improving with experience, Grosse defends extremely well. Look for Christian to increase his role within the team and make
major strides this year. |
