| Benni Gulde returns to ratiopharm Ulm for his second season with the team and holds the exciting position as a top prospect for the organization. The former German youth National player is widely regarded as a strong defender and excellent perimeter shooter for his young 17 years of age. Completing his senior year of high school, Benni works through a demanding weekly schedule filled with intense academics and test and practices with two teams within the Ulm organization. Benni plays with a dual lisence for both ratiopharm Ulm and the farm team in Neu Ulm. A starting guard for Neu Ulm and reserve for the 2.Bundesliga team, Benni has made excellent progress over the offseason. He worked exclusively with a conditioning coach and has improved his athleticism and explosion dramatically over the summer. Benni enjoyed the opportunity to get some minutes with the ratiopharm Ulm team toward the end of last season when the roster was struck with injuries. Gulde played significant minutes in games against TV Langen and Breitengussbach late last year. Off the floor, Benni enjoys spending time with family and friends. Benni is also the reigning team champ at NBA Live for 2003-2004 and 2005. |
