| A key factor in ratiopharm Ulm's
success last season returns in the form of shooting guard Peter
Heizer. A returning starter and Co-Captain, Peter stands
as one of the best perimeter defenders in the 2.Bundesliga
South. A tremendous athlete, the 6'4 guard is a slashing
scorer with great skills to finish in transition. More
known for scoring, Heizer starred as a set up man last season
dishing out a team high 12 assists in Ulm's Jan 24th win over
Breitengussbach. Peter paced Ulm in scoring 8 times
including a season high 23 twice (Nordlingen 9-17-03 and Langen
4-3-04). Look for Peter to continue his high level play
for Ulm this season and be a major contributor from his
backcourt position. The Walnut Creek California native is
a dual citizen as an American with a German passport.
Heizer played his college basketball at Pacific in Stockton
California after transferring from Diablo Valley CC. He
began his pro career playing for Quakenbruck in the 2.Bundesliga
North before moving up the Wurzburg in the Bundesliga for one
season. Heizer rates as one of the top guards in
2.Bundesliga basketball. In his free time, Peter enjoys
playing the stock market and riding motorcycles. |
