Thursday March 24th, 2011 ULM'S BIG MAN! ratiopharm Ulm toured the construction of ratiopharm Arena Thursday afternoon in Ulm but the enthusiastic sneak preview was not the only positive from the day --- center John Bryant re-signed a new contract with ratiopharm Ulm to play the post when ratiopharm Arena opens up next season. The Bundesliga's most efficient player (21.6efficiency) and leading rebounder in the league (11.0), John is currently 10th in the league in scoring 14.4ppg, 2nd in blocks (1.7), 4th in the league in field goal percentage (63.8%) and leads the Bundesliga in double doubles with 13. John's signing comes after a tremendous 27 point 18 rebound performance in last Sunday's 90-85 double overtime home win over Trier.
ratiopharm Ulm GM Thomas Stoll presents center John Bryant with his new contract Thursday afternoon while the team tours new ratiopharm Arena. After leading the nation in double doubles and being names Big West player of the year at Santa Clara, John played the 2009-2010 season in the NBDL with the Erie Bayhawks and spent the summer playing with the Milwaukee Bucks in the Las Vegas NBA Summer League. Since signing with ratiopharm Ulm, John has established himself among the best big men in the Bundesliga as a rookie.
