Thursday August 26th, 2010 ratiopharm Ulm Preseason 2010! ratiopharm Ulm opened preseason practice Monday morning August 23rd at Sportszentrum Kuhberg in Ulm. Working through two practices a day for the first week, the team will officially introduce itself to fans in a public practice set for Sunday afternoon August 29th tipping off at 3pm in Sportszentrum Kuhberg.

BG ILLERTAL NEW FARM TEAM FOR RATIOPHARM ULM! Earlier in August, BG Illertal was announced as the new farm team for ratiopharm Ulm beginning for the upcoming 2010-2011 season. Playing in Pro B third division last season under the name Weissenhorn, cooperating with BG Illertal adds an important piece to the basketball organization of ratiopharm Ulm. Young players and talented prospects will now be able to play with a double lisence for Bundesliga ratiopharm Ulm and Pro B BG Illertal. Previously, the highest level in the Ulm organization was NBBL.

BENZING AND GUNTHER AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS! ratiopharm Ulm players Robin Benzing and Per Gunther will represent their country playing for the German National team at the 2010 FIBA World Championships in Turkey August 28th to September 12th. Germany will open up with a game against FIBA #1 ranked Argentina Saturday August 28th, plays Serbia on the 29th, faces Australlia on the 30th, meets Angola September 1st before tipping off against Jordan on September 2nd. ratiopharm Ulm is proud of both Robin and Per and wishes them all the best for their fantastic basketball experience in Turkey!
