11-16-04 ratiopharm Ulm spends time with Multi-Cultural Kids!
Tuesday afternoon November 16th, ratiopharm Ulm found time between practice sessions to mingle with multi-cultural kids at an Ulm school for special needs youth. The team signed autographs and played games with the young boys and girls ranging in age from 5 to 12 and coming from places like Kosovo, Iraq, Africa, Slovenia, Italy, former Yugoslavia, Germany and Poland. The Special School provides programs for the kids after regular schooltime hours to help keep these youngsters moving in a positive direction. Extremely excited over the basketball teams visit, the kids will be treated to free tickets for ratiopharm Ulm's home game November 20th against BBC Bayreuth.
