| Dennis Woolfolk returns to
ratiopharm Ulm for his second season as the teams experienced
veteran in the backcourt. Joining Ulm midway through last
campaign, Dennis immediately made an impact with his knowledge
and experience helping the team on and off the court. The
37 year old guard has enjoyed an extremely successful
professional career in Germany and Portugal since graduating
from Coker College in South Carolina in 1991. Working as a
coach on the floor, Dennis directs the scout team and assists
head coach Mike Taylor with scouting of opponents. Making
his first appearance for Ulm last season February 7th against
Nordlingen, Woolfolk's first points in an Ulm uniform came on a
three pointer against Ehingen Saturday February 28th. He
had a season high 3 assists and 2 rebounds in Ulm's road win at
Ansbach and posted 3 points in Ulm's season finale victory over
Kaiserslautern on April 24th. After a challenging
offseason workout routine, Dennis returned to training camp in
great shape and performed extremely well in the preseason
including a breakaway slam dunk capping the teams first German
Cup win at SC-Heuchelhoff October 6th. Dennis resides in
Neu Ulm with his wife Tanya, daughter and son Junior. |
